Athletes train alone.
But they should never feel alone.

— The Plyo principle
The Plyo Method

Three phases.
One relationship.

A complete methodology built on three sequential foundations: the discipline of position, the absorption of force, and the propulsion of force. Every program in Plyo composes from these three phases.

01
Phase 1 · Athletic

Foundations of position.

Slow, grinding repetition through full range of motion. The nervous system learns the position before it ever learns to move fast. Tracked by time-to-first-failure — not rep count.

Phase 2 · Depth Drop

Absorption of force.

The plyometric shock method. Graduated eccentric loading from 12", 18", and 24" box heights. The body learns to decelerate before it ever learns to accelerate. Quality of landing is the metric — never volume.

Phase 3 · Recoil

Propulsion of force.

Reactive, explosive, elastic. Force production built on a foundation of position and absorption. This is where athletic output is finally expressed — and where personal records get logged.

What Plyo does

Built to amplify the coach.
Never to replace them.

Every feature is evaluated against one question: does this make the athlete feel more connected to their specific coach?

01 / Voice

Coach's voice, on every exercise.

Replayable voice cues mid-set. The parasocial presence of your coach in your ear — even in an empty gym at 6 a.m.

02 / Sync

Offline by default.

Videos, workouts, and logs run from local storage. Sync when you're back on WiFi. Never blocked by a gym basement.

03 / Adapt

Daily adaptive programming.

Coach designs the program. The app tunes each day within the coach's guardrails — based on energy, pain, sleep, and last session.

04 / Presence

One-tap “Coach saw your workout.”

The most important micro-interaction in the app. Athletes train alone, but never feel alone.

05 / Form

Form video feedback loop.

Athlete records. Coach reviews with voice-over. Feedback appears as a banner the next time that exercise comes up.

06 / Speed

Sixty seconds to training.

Open app → one tap → one swipe check-in → training. No forms, no survey fatigue, no friction.

Coach × Athlete

It only works as a pair.

Plyo is coaching software. Both sides need to be in the system for the channel to work. The coach builds, the app delivers, the athlete trains, the coach sees it. That's the loop.

How the channel opens

From invite code to first rep — three steps.

Step 01 · Coach

Coach builds, sets the channel.

Build a program. Record voice cues for the exercises that need them. Hit invite — Plyo generates a six-digit code for the athlete.

Coach builder screenshot
Step 02 · Athlete

Athlete enters the code, opens Today.

Six digits, one tap. The program lands on the Today screen with the next seven days of videos already downloaded. Ready before the warm-up.

Step 03 · Both

Logs sync. Coach sees it. Athlete sees that.

Workouts log offline. They flush on WiFi. The coach gets a feed item; the athlete gets the only badge that matters — “Coach saw your workout.”

Coach feed + acknowledgment

“My athletes train in seven time zones. Plyo is the only way I can still be in the room when they lift.”
